A luxury boutique hotel brand with extraordinary people.

As the hotel group that started Marriott’s Autograph Collection, Kessler has a standard to uphold and a story to tell. Much of its story can be found hanging on the walls, with thousands of original art pieces in every open space.

But none of these stories come to life without the Grand Performers—housekeepers, bellmen, servers, chefs and front desk pros. Inspire them and they can in turn inspire and ignite a sense of adventure in their guests.

At the core of the brand’s story is the Bohemian lifestyle. While airy and whimsical, it needed a defining foundation to align and inspire all Grand Performers.

We invited Grand Performers to become a part of the Bohemian story with an onboarding and training piece that defined their role within each pillar of the Kessler brand.

Next, we announced quarterly celebrations through email, where Grand Performers were offered real experiences—tastings, learning moments with art and fashion, music and connection—so they could live the Bohemian Lifestyle for themselves and then deliver it for each and every guest.

To complement each celebration, we published a collection of seasonal zines capturing the storytelling, art, fashion and cuisine to enhance the guest experience on property and online.

We then leveraged these events to develop a suite of fully branded sales materials, bringing the Bohemian story to life through weddings, meetings, celebrations and more.

The final step was giving guests a reason to visit all year long with seasonal events and playful promotional pieces that double as works of art.
